Norlut-N Tablet is used to treat various menstrual problems including painful, heavy, or irregular periods, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and a condition called endometriosis. It is a man-made version of the natural female sex hormone progesterone.
Norlut-N Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at the same time each day. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need so as to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablets whole with a drink of water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed to you.
The most common side effects of this medicine include headache, nausea, abdominal pain, vaginal spotting, hair loss, and breast tenderness. Norlut-N Tablet is a synthetic progestin that replicates the effect of a natural female hormone called progesterone. Kidney

Liver
CAUTION
Norlut-N Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Norlut-N Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Norlut-N Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. Inform your doctor if you develop signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools.
If you miss a dose of Norlut-N Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
